Ward Parks and Recreation

The purpose of the Ward Parks and Recreation is to provide the opportunity for the City of Ward’s Citizens to take part in a wide variety of recreational activities. We provide team sport leagues of include T-ball, Little League to fast pitch softball.  We also maintain a sports complex with the capability of three ball fields, walking trail and concessions.  We provide a fishing pond that allows local anglers the opportunity to catch catfish and bass that also sponsors a youth fishing tournament every year.  The Parks and Recreation Commission provide every avenue possible for our citizens to participate in a variety of recreational activities.
